I stayed more than a week at the Ranch to explore a part of Colorado back in the late 90s. I just loved the classic army truck shuttle between the town of Estes and the Ranch! The host at that time was great also. When I talked to him about my plan for the Longs Peak hike, he gave me some advice, which is the route maybe I would have never know if I did not meet him. All the hostel guests gave me cheers also. So I made it to the summit alright. The wonderful host and the people from many different countries. A lifelong memory...
