My name is Scott Eldridge and my wife Patty and I live here in Estes Park and we own the 4 Seasons. I would like to share some memories I have with you about an employee that worked at the Ranch in the 1930’s...his name was Harvey Eldridge. He was my most favorite uncle and sadly he passed in 2010 in Denver at the age of 93. I have some pictures of the Ranch as it was back then and I have a hand written message that he wrote about being gainfully (and THANKFULLY) employed as a young man in his teens. I get very tickled as he says he was hired to wash dishes and was to only be employed for a week-to-a-month at best. Uncle Harvey states that they knew he was “good with the horses,” and “NEVER EVER washed a dish in his entire SEVEN years of employment!”

He LOVED the Ranch and I always enjoyed hearing the stories he had to tell about it!
